Dr. Maobin Yang, originally from Chengdu, China, received his MS and DDS degrees in dentistry in 2003. Dr. Yang obtained his PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Oral Biology) at the University of Connecticut in 2009. He completed his endodontic residency program with a combined MDS degree at the University of Connecticut in 2012.
Dr. Yang has served as a committee member of American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Research and Scientific Affairs Committee. In 2013, he received “AAE Endodontic Educator Fellowship Award” and “AAE John and Joyce Ingle Fellow”. He serves on the editorial board of the Austin Journal of Dentistry and the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics. Dr. Yang has published over 50 papers and abstracts and 2 book chapters, and was invited to present endodontic lectures nationally and internationally. He also serves as the reviewers for more than ten prestigious clinical and scientific research journals. His background in teaching and research greatly strengthened his ability to aid patients at the highest level in their health care decisions as it pertains to their Endodontic needs.
