Stephanie Serrano, DDS

Dr. Stephanie Serrano is originally from Long Island, New York where she graduated from the Honors Program with a B.S. in Psychology and Biology minor from Stony Brook University.
She received her D.D.S. degree with honors from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Dr. Serrano was also awarded:
- the American Association of Oral Biologist’s Excellence in Oral Biology Award
- Quintessence Excellence in Academics and Research Award
- Ryan Endowed Scholarship for Future Academicians
- New York Academy of Dentistry Research Award
- and the Best Research Presentation Award and Hinman Award at the Leo Sreebny Research Symposium.
Following dental school, she completed a general residency at the Ann Arbor Veteran’s Hospital where she served our nation’s veterans and treated their complex dental needs. It was during this time she discovered her passion for endodontics and went on to obtain her certificate from the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics at the prestigious Temple University in 2019, the nation’s first endodontics program.
During residency, Dr. Serrano trained using the most advanced technology and techniques in both surgical and non-surgical endodontics. She was also selected to serve as the endodontic graduate representative on the Dean’s Review Committee at the university.
Dr. Serrano has won awards for her research in regenerative endodontics and presented her findings at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting in Montreal, Canada.
She has also participated in numerous outreach and dental service mission trips to underserved areas in South Dakota and New York. In her commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care and comfort, Dr. Serrano is on track to fully achieve her board certification and become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
In her free time, Dr. Serrano enjoys baking, spending time with her husband and family, traveling, trying new restaurants, and going scuba diving!
