Dr. Samin Nawaz completed her undergraduate degree as part of an accelerated 7-year honors dental program where she was accepted while in high school.  She graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor’s in Biology from NJIT.  She attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM) for her D.M.D degree.

While at RSDM, Dr. Nawaz received many awards and scholarships including recognition in qualifying for Dean’s List annually, the Quintessence Award for Research Achievement, ADA Student Clinician award, Senior Student Award for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership, New Jersey Dental School Student Leadership, and Distinguished Service Award as President of the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD), Award for Outstanding Leadership and Dedicated Services as President of the AAWD and Student Achievement Award in Endodontics.  She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Nawaz completed a two-year residency specializing in Endodontics along with a Masters’s in Dental Science at RSDM.  During residency, Dr. Nawaz received the American Association of Endodontics Resident Award for her research presentation in Washington, D.C. Following residency, Dr. Nawaz completed a rigorous examination process to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

As a board-certified endodontist, Dr. Nawaz is committed to providing compassionate care utilizing the most advanced technology and techniques.  She values her patient’s comfort and strives to make every root canal treatment a pleasant experience.

Dr. Nawaz grew up in central New Jersey.  She enjoys traveling, biking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
